What this policy covers
This policy describes how Summex Technologies LLC ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through https://www.summex.net. It does not cover information we process on behalf of clients under a managed services agreement — that is governed by the agreement itself and, where applicable, a separate business associate or data processing addendum.
Information we collect
We collect only what you send us. When you submit the contact form, that is your name, email address, and — if you choose to provide them — your company, phone number, the nature of your inquiry, and the message itself.
Our host records standard server logs, including IP address, user agent, and requested URL, for security and operational purposes. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
How we use it
Contact form submissions are used to respond to your inquiry and, where a working relationship follows, to administer it. We may retain correspondence as a business record.
We do not add form submissions to a marketing list without your explicit agreement.
Where it goes
This site is hosted on Microsoft Azure. Form submissions are transmitted over TLS to a serverless function in our own Azure subscription, which forwards the message to our internal ticketing and email systems. Submissions are not routed through a third-party form service.
We use subprocessors — principally Microsoft — for hosting, email, and ticketing. We do not disclose your information to anyone else except where required by law.
Retention
Inquiries that do not lead to an engagement are retained for up to 24 months and then deleted. Records relating to an active or former client relationship are retained for as long as the relationship requires and for any period mandated by law or professional obligation.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Any cookies present are strictly necessary for the site to function.
Your choices
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email helpdesk@summex.net and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights; we will honor those where they apply.
Security
We apply the controls we recommend to clients: multi-factor authentication on administrative access, encryption in transit, least-privilege access, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
